Gite Gaineko Karrikan

Very clean and well kept. Meal was great and they were very accommodating to vegetarian diet. I highly recommend this gite.

Laetitia gives hikers a very warm welcome. The dormitory is very spacious and pleasant, however, beware of mosquitoes. We were disappointed by dinner and breakfast. Catering was offered for the evening, but the dish served in a rather unappetizing plastic container. The value for money was disappointing, even though the welcome was very warm on a personal level!

Avoid at all costs... €52 for the night, dinner, and breakfast. Everything is mass-produced and the cheapest available. How can I put it? In terms of value for money, it's definitely the worst guesthouse around. The icing on the cake: you have to wash your own dishes, otherwise it's no fun. The toilets smelled bad, and the bedding wasn't made when we arrived. A rip-off. If you're hiking the GR10, choose a campsite instead; plus, there's river access and an Intermarché supermarket right next door.
