Hotel Restaurant Fiescherblick

Our stay at Hotel Fiescherblick in Grindelwald was magical for our elopement—it totally blew us away! Right from the get-go, Lars, Matthias, and their hand selected staff of absolute rock stars made our week in Grindelwald a total dream. They knew it was the most important day of our lives, and they made us feel so special with all the little touches and genuine vibes. No stress, just pure happiness. The only thing better than the views from our balcony were their Mezcalitas. All their cocktails were top notch and you could taste the craft that goes into each drink. The best part was, they couldn't be happier to accommodate each and every request. The Spa was total bliss— the Sauna and Jacuzzi was incredibly well kept and clean. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of adventures. Isabel and her team with house keeping took time out of their day to assist my wife as she was panicking to get her wedding dress steamed and ironed. Beyond the stay, they went out of their way to make sure the rest of our travels through Switzerland were seamless. They even assisted us months later with shipping a package that we had issues shipping home. Total Legends! Can’t wait to head back for our anniversary and soak it all in again. If you’re hitting Grindelwald, this place is a must. Good people, and everyone that worked there seemed just as happy as their guests.

An outstanding stay in every sense. The hotel has an excellent location — the Firstbahn experience is just a few steps away, and it is also conveniently located in the same village as the train station for Jungfraujoch. Additionally, the local bus stop is right in front of the hotel, making getting around extremely easy. The staff is exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. They helped us with our tickets and ensured we received the available discounts, which we truly appreciated. Several team members spoke Spanish, which made us feel especially welcome. As a lovely gesture, we were gifted a bottle of champagne, which we enjoyed in the hotel’s jacuzzi while taking in the most spectacular mountain views — an unforgettable moment. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully appointed, with a stunning view of the mountains. The wine cellar is perfectly curated, and we had the opportunity to enjoy a truly top-tier wine at an excellent price, which was a wonderful surprise. Finally, the restaurant was absolutely delicious — refined, elegant, and clearly Michelin-level. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

It is not insane to stay that Hotel Fiescherblick is the PERFECT Hotel. I was blessed to be able to celebrate a part of my honeymoon in Grindelwald and stay at Fischerblick. From the moment we arrived on a cold evening at the train station we were greeted with open arms. Unable to get a taxi for us and our heavy luggage, the owner drove over himself immediately to pick us up once we called to find out more about the public transportation system. Our room was spotless, cozy, and had a view of the mountains that you couldn’t recreate on a green screen. The staff was all so family like and communicative making it their true goal to ensure our stay was pleasant. The spa was dreamlike, the location was excellent, and just the look of the hotel and restaurant was a view in itself. Lastly, my wife and I had the opportunity and pleasure to indulge in a “6 course meal” (felt more like a 10 course!) by the amazing Michelin star restaurant and chef that the hotel has downstairs. This review is already long so I will just say if you’re thinking about it, DO IT! (And add the wine pairing too!) Thank you to Lars and Matthias for being such hands on owners, bringing together such an excellent team, and making our honeymoon special. We will 100% be returning to Hotel Fiescherblick!!!
