Il Casale del Cotone

This is the second time that we have enjoyed a stay at this location. Alessandro has continued to work on his property and it is even more beautiful that when we saw it a few years ago. The passion that he holds for what has been in his family for generations is evident. The rooms are well appointed, meticulously clean and spacious. He provides a wonderful breakfast and if your’e really lucky he will make dinner for you as well. The location is within easy access to San Gimignano, Pisa etc. but located in a quiet, beautiful area. Alessandro is warm, accessible and seems to be fluent in quite a few languages! This is absolutely one of our favourite places to stay in Italy.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our Italy trip. Was a perfect way to end out trip after spending a week in Sardinia. We were celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The rooms are great size along with a great sized bathroom. Beautiful views outside the bedroom window. So peaceful. Delicious breakfast every morning as well. The cherry on top was Alessandro's cooking. He approached us one morning and mentioned he would be cooking dinner that night. We did not know what to expect but it was the best meal of our entire trip! Everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend staying here for your Tuscany trip and hope we will be back soon.

A few beautiful days in Tuscany Just outside of San Gimignano. The grounds were stunning, quiet and peaceful. Everything was well maintained. The owner was always available and very helpful. A great experience overall!
