The host almost denied us the entry because we were two hours and 10 minutes late. We notified the host about our arriving late. We managed to arrive at 20.40 instead of 18:30. We drove 7 hours that day. The host displayed passive agressive behaviour towards me for my trying to convince him not to deny us the entrance for being late. In tourism, this kind of inability to be flexible is unacceptable as change is part of the business. One does not say things like “where do you live”, “vaffanculo”, “smashing doors”, “I am not a slave”, etc. to any tourist for being late. Nevertheless, the location is great.

We had a pleasant stay, the estate is beautiful, it’s easy to relax and clear your mind, with great views over the hills, a clean pool and great hospitality. It’s easy to get to by car, but also just a 15 min walk away from the next bus station to Siena. It is important to be on time for the check in, but as mentioned, it’s fairly easy to get there, by taxi it’s just 10-12 mins away from the main station or the city. Beware of this scam. We booked for two nights. When we arrived, we dared to park our car in front of the apartment. I'm disabled, and there was no reserved parking space. The owner kicked us out, threw our suitcase at us, and insulted us. He was so violent that I was scared. Look at the negative reviews of this property: they all tell the same story. The owner uses various excuses to kick out guests who have booked and, of course, doesn't refund. Run away!
