Almost a kilometer away from the Camino de Santiago, but honestly worth the walk. This hotel is GORGEOUS. It’s a remodeled pazo with stone walls and they put in a lot of effort to make the rooms comfortable while keeping to a specific aesthetic (old time Galician nobility). They even have their own horreo, and the fountain in the courtyard is old (pretty sure my ancestors were still colonized by the Spanish when it was built). We left the hotel at 4am for the final stretch of the Camino (Padròn to Santiago). The staff very nicely prepared packed lunches at our request, with yogurt, orange juice, a sandwich, an apple, and bottled water. We ate ’em on the way, and it was helpful because no cafès were open yet.

We stayed at Pazo de Lestrove during our Camino and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is full of history, with peaceful gardens and a serene atmosphere, but it also delivers on comfort. The beds and bedding were so comfortable—exactly what weary pilgrims need after long days of walking. We especially appreciated the option of personalized massage services right in our own room, which made the stay feel even more special. What stood out most, though, was the staff. Everyone we met was warm, helpful, and welcoming, which truly elevated our experience. This is a beautiful and restful retreat that I would highly recommend to any pilgrim or traveler looking for comfort, history, and excellent service.

What a beautiful hotel ideal for pilgrims after a 20km walk from Caldas de Reis to Padron.... but then, be warned, 1km to the hotel. We'll worth it if you don't want restaurateur close by. There is nothing on this side of the river, but what fantastic accommodation!!!
