Hotel Seehof

Our stay at Hotel Seehof was wonderful! The lake view is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect—just a short distance from the center of Zell am See. The hotel manager and her staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Having their own parking was also very convenient. Highly recommend this hotel!

Overall, it’s a good 3-star hotel — clean, comfortable, and well-managed. The breakfast was actually really nice, and the overall experience met expectations for this category. However, there’s one major issue: if you have a lake view room, be prepared for train noise at night. The tracks are close by, and I was woken up multiple times because of it. Definitely something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

A really lovely hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice Sauna which was inexpensive to book (only private usage so you have to book, which was lovely). The restaurant in house is definitely worth booking a table at while staying there too. Breakfast was good, with amazing view across the lake.
