The Chalk House

The Chalk house/ The Cuttlefish. Pros Beautiful house Lovely views Nice little welcome gift Lovely restaurant near by (2 fore Street) Cons Zero parking at all! have to walk up very steep hills miles away from the house with suitcase's (Absolute Nightmare). House was not clean! Grime all over taps in shower, sink, soap dispensers and old food in oven tray! Rubbish left in cupboard! Noisy neighbors! (Sounds like they are in the same room). Strains on alot of bedding! Have to strip all bedding and take out bins before you leave! (Never had to do that before). Very very over priced!

Definitely isn't as nice as the photos they put up! Stains all over the bedding, rotting food in the cupboards and oven trays! Dirt in the shower and sink taps, radiators hanging off the walls, noisey neighbors and absolutely no where to park at all! Awful run down place that might of been ok years ago but definitely doesn't look like the photos you see advertising this place. Needs a cleaner and a full Refurb with new bedding etc as it was disgusting!

Lovely house perched on the top of a narrow path with fabulous views of St Michele the harbour and the rest of the bay. The property has It's own little garden and interior is charming and on arrival we were greeted with a goody bag which included a Prosecco.
