Harbour Inn, Porthleven

We stayed for one night during February as we were visiting family. Stayed in room 14 which has two single beds, a large bathroom, and a lounge area. We loved the decor and the services in the room were lovely. The staff were really helpful, and the food and drink were superb. What a lovely little harbour this is. We will certainly stay again. Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very welcoming Inn. The rooms are spotless with everything you would need. Our room had a fridge as well as a harbour view. Breakfast was a feast, numerous choices and great coffee. Pub food was wonderful. Our room was Kynance, number 2. The only thing I would like to change. The chairs are both charming but only about 6 inches off the ground. Very hard to get in to and well nigh impossible to get out of for folk of a certain age who seem to make up a good percentage of the clientele. Any chance of a pair of normal height east chairs please?

A Festive Christmas Lunch at The Harbour Inn... From the very first enquiry, the communication was outstanding. The team stayed in touch, ensured our requirements were noted, and made us feel like valued guests long before we stepped through the door. Upon arrival, we were met with a festive atmosphere. The decor was tasteful and warm, creating that quintessential Christmas magic feeling. The vegan and veggie food was beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and generous in portion size; we enjoyed every mouthful. It was clear that thought had gone into the plant-based menu. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to make the vegan/vegetarian option a more traditional one that resembles a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. The service was great. The entire staff team was professional, friendly, and attentive, but two individuals truly made our day: Ryan who ran the day with absolute precision. Despite the pressure of Christmas Day service, he ensured everything flowed perfectly. His leadership was evident in how relaxed all the guests felt. And Fraser who we cannot thank enough for his kindness. He went above and beyond to accommodate us allowing our whole family to take part in the celebrations together. His empathy and willingness meant the world to us and is a testament to the culture at the Harbour Inn. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
