One of the highlights of our three week trip. It's all about that view. But beware. You are literally staying in a barrel. It is tiny. There is no running water, electricity or heat (or air conditioning for that matter.) And we loved it....for one night. We were plenty warm with the four blankets they provided. The Sea, the stars, the lighthouse, the ships. What a great break from the rat race. Bring flashlights and a good beverage to share. They have a small BBQ for 3 Euros rent. Plus a 2 euro coffee machine on property. Lifesaver.

If we are talking sea-side accommodations, this one takes the cake. Comfy bed and picturesque view will provide emotions never to be forgotten. Staff is friendly and helpful even in the most unorthodox situations. The ventilation does it's job splendidly and despite the breathtaking view, oxygen is not an issue.

One of the best night I ever spent! These barrels are rustics (no electricity, no water, no heating) but the view is amazing. The Cape Kolka is such a wonderful and peaceful place. It was an authentic place to stay a night. Just make sure to bring with you warm clothes because the night is cold, even in summer.
