Quaint accommodation nestled in total silence among the olive trees. It has everything you need (including soap, detergent, and a washing machine) and is convenient for visiting many places (Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino, the Castellana Caves, etc.), with only car access (no public transportation available). The owners are kind and helpful. Cons: The beds are truly uncomfortable; the double mattresses are warped, and the bases creak constantly even when turning over. The sofa bed also has a non-existent mattress. Overall cleanliness could be improved; we found cat hair scattered around the house.

We were looking for accommodation in the Itria Valley without the parking problems of tourist towns. This rental is perfect, as it's a modern trullo 3 km from Cisternino and an ideal starting point for exploring Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni, and the coast. We have the entire trullo, with a spacious bedroom that stays cool on hot days, a beautiful bathroom, a kitchen, and a magnificent terrace on beautiful grounds planted with olive trees, not to mention the possibility of parking our car on this gated property. The surrounding walks are worth it because we are surrounded by trullo houses, each one unique from the other, and the countryside is beautiful. Also, 800 meters away, amidst the olive groves, is an excellent bakery and pastry shop where locals come to shop or enjoy a delicious meal on their terrace (excellent panzarotti and babas). The only downside is the dogs' untimely barking, but the owners can't do anything about it. A beautiful rental at a very reasonable price.

In October, we enjoyed the long summer by staying at Trullo Salamina. Everything was perfect: the silence and the olive trees.
