Carfagna Sandro Country House

We enjoyed a three night visit to the Carfagna Sandro Country House and recommend it without reservation. The family and staff are very welcoming. The breakfast and restaurant for evening meals are excellent. The resort lies in the shadow of the Cathedral of Saint Francis and is very peaceful. We hope to return next year.

Just back from a 3 day visit to Assisi and can’t recommend this place more. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. We were in the area visiting the war cemetery were my wife’s grandfather is buried it’s only a few miles away. Had an amazing room with views over the surrounding countryside and Assisi. Ate in the family run restaurant all 3 nights, food was lovely cooked fresh on the open fire in the restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay here and ,need to come back in the summer months when the pool is open. Thank you for making our stay really special, Jon and Anita

Beautiful location, with a direct view to the Basilica of San Francesco. Nice, clean and cozy rooms. Breakfast was great, dinner was excellent! (with tasty gluten free options) Best of all- the family and the staff. Kind, welcoming, informative and always smiling and more than willing to assist. Thank you! We'll definately come again
