Camping Lazar

Location is great, its a 4min walk to the Soča river which you can also cross easily because of a bridge thats located right at the entrance to the campsite. Staff is very friendly, the restaurant is super cozy and the campsite is huge, so there is always some place to put your tent. However I have to deduct a star for the showers and toilets, which are not seperated but put together which I personally find disgusting. In one of the toilets the drain wasnt working so the entire toilet/shower area smelled of urine and it was just generally not really clean. In addition to that, I have to deduct another star because the campsite decided to host a wedding. This meant that without earplugs, you didnt get any sleep that night, which was absolutely terrible for people that were hiking and just passing through, looking for a place to rest. (The campsite didnt even offer a discount but charged full price) Its definetely a 4 - star campsite but the wedding experience we had wont allow me to rate it as such.

Well located, friendly staff, very nice restaurant, close to the river. Also: despite the size (huge!), this camping has managed to keep a chill and relaxed vibe. Recommend!

My cousin and I stayed 2 nights here and it was by far our most favourite campground on our trip. The staff are absolutely incredible. I forget most of their names, I'm sorry, but Michelle and her compadres working with her showed us the BEST time. The restaurant was delish and the natural wine they sell is top notch. I bought 5 bottles to take along with us. If you are in Kobaird or nearby, i highly, highly recommend a stay at this gem.
