Casa Francigena

We were doing the Francigena by bike and had a really bad experience with this place. We didn’t reach the point that we expected that night due to a mechanical bike problem. We had to find a place to sleep urgently. We arrived around 8:30pm and asked for availability. Two people answered from the window upstairs and told us it was full. Totally fine answer. But then when chatting with their neighbors, who were kind enough to help us and propose a spot for our tent, the same two people started yelling at us from their window, and threatened to call the police if we didn’t leave. They were aggressive. It was a traumatic experience having in mind we needed shelter and were in a vulnerable situation. I haven’t slept in this hotel so I can’t tell about their service but I didn’t feel respected as a human being.
