B&B Appia Antica

Room was not cleaned when we arrived (sheets and towels in a clearly used state!), the air conditioning unit wasn’t really able to cool the room down much. Manager gave us most of the money back but in turn asked us not to leave a review.

Despite having called us 12 hours in advance to confirm our check-in time, we arrived and were told there was an overbooking and they had moved us to another building. Unacceptable. They put us in an apartment elsewhere, and we had to return to the main building for breakfast the next day (very inconvenient, obviously). The apartment smelled musty, dusty, and...with COCKROACHES. Furthermore, to get the water to run from the sink, we had to improvise as plumbers by opening the stopper from under the sink (which smelled like death). The only thing that wasn't terrible was the women who welcomed us for breakfast, who were very kind and welcoming.

Terrible customer service. I booked a room through Booking.com, and to ask us to cancel, they invented the story of the flooding. They never respond to messages or even phone calls. Terrible customer service. Highly discouraged. Luciana
