Hôtel Bar des Voyageurs

Right across from the station, rooms are clean and relatively modern. As far as what you can find in Modane, this is quite okay for one night.

Can't stress enough how grateful I'm to the staff of the hotel. Stayed at the hotel after hiking in Vanoise. They were very forthcoming - and despite us arriving very early - there were no objections to a super early checkin. The rooms are neat. The staff was very polite and helpful when I had forgotten a personal item at the hotel, and helped the whole arrangements so that I receive it in the end. The location is very convenient - it's right next to the train/bus station. And also car-parking is convenient - because hotel is right next to a bridge that leads to a free&availablecar parking on the other side of the river.

The rooms are nice. The hotel is just outside the train station. There is self check-in and you have to climb up the stairs to get to the room. There are a few eating places just outside.
