It is absolutely freezing cold in the rooms and the little electric heater doesn’t do very much. It looked like it was closed when we arrived but we managed to find the number of the owner who told us the lock number. I booked it via booking and some information about the check in process would have been helpful. The bed sheets seemed clean but I definitely didn’t want to use the thicker blankets provided because they look old and not exactly clean. If it wasn’t for the sleeping bags to keep us warm, I don’t know how to stay here for the night. There is a big bug painted on the wall, we luckily didn’t encounter any other bugs during our stay. Walk past this accommodation if you possibly can, I would not recommend it!

Worst structure ever. Don’t come here. I’ll try to give as much details as possible: 1) Heating: the announcement talks about having the heating in the room. In reality there is no heating system in the room. There are few electric and old heaters with very low efficiency. In the whole apartment there were not enough to cover all the requests in the rooms. 2) Electricity: around 22:00 during the night there had been a problem with electricity, so there was no electricity in the rooms (only in the main corridor). That means no lights in the room, no possibility to charge the phone and no possibility to use the heaters. It was the night between 30th and 31st december, and it was very very cold. 3) House owner: we called the house owner to explain the electricity problem and he was not helpful at all. We tried what he suggested but it was not working. He refused to come to the hostel, mentioning he would have come the morning after. When we tried to recall him, he simply ignored all our calls. I also texted him in the Booking app, but he kept ignoring. In this situation, the hostel was becoming very cold and it would have been impossible to sleep in those rooms. Other guests were in my same position, and they left the hostel as well. These structures should never be allowed to rent rooms.

This place is absolutely beautiful and now my favourite to stop along the Camino. As a solo female hiker I have a private room with a shared bathroom however the bathroom is right next to my room so it feels like my own. I feel very safe and so well looked after by this beautiful family. One of the best meals and so reasonably priced for dinner and wine. The owners are so accomodating. This is the place to stop before reaching the final destination and not to far to finish the walk. Highly recommend!
