Shaldon is a very nice, quiet holiday resort. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are very friendly and all our wishes were fulfilled. We stayed in the smuggler's cottage and were very happy. The village has a pharmacy, shopping facilities and several places to eat. There are more options in Teignmouth. All in all, we had a great holiday, thank you very much.

Great room with space and character. Very clean and well presented with plenty of drinks choices. Lovely manager and team. Excellent breakfast with some good choices beyond the Full English I went for. Shaldon is a nice, quiet spot. Nice pub next door (I couldn't hear it from my room) and nice walks through town or the Botanical Gardens, the waterfront etc.. More expensive than some but still terrfic value. I'd definitely go back.
