Loved it! Cozy single room at the top of 2 flights of stairs, located right near the station (and very close to the 2 pubs and the post office/shop), 5 mins walk to sea. Breakfast was amazing - full English, toast and home made jams, fruit. Comfortable bed, very clean room and ensuite.

Carole went out of her way to accommodate my son and me for an extra night in the twin bedroom. She also drove me to Whitehaven for a prescription I needed. I cannot recommend Stonehouse Farm highly enough. Staying with Carole made the start of our walk on the Coast to Coast Path extra special.

Excellent location for the start of the Coast to Coast walk. A warm welcome awaits you and Carol, the host is friendly, knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to make your stay an enjoyable one. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. I could easily have stayed for a week!
