Reviewing Taobh Coille feels a bit like giving my auntie a star-rating. But, for the benefit of other travelers: Agnes and John keep a lovely home, with an unbelievable view, and provide the kind of classic B+B experience that you often imagine and seldom find. Our room was homey and also very comfortable and tidy. Breakfasts were delicious. We felt completely free to come and go like we owned the place, but also felt tended to, with just enough attention to know we were well taken care of without being obliged to socialize more than we were up for. If anything, we hope to come back soon and beg a little more of the hosts’ time. Every story we got from Agnes and John - about their lives and history or the history of Kells and Kerry - was a total pleasure. If the B&B is closed or full, consider asking about their rental cottage, which is in an equally beautiful spot just up the coast.

Taobh Coille was exactly what we were looking for. Glorious views, friendly hosts, convenient location, and quality lodging. Agnes & John were fabulous to us and made us feel like family. My wife was able to feed the baby lambs which made her day. Breakfast was stellar and the view from the table is second to none. We can't wait to return and reunite.

Lovely stay with lovely hosts! Taobh Coille is clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The views of Dingle Bay are stunning and I got to feed the lambs, which was a highlight of my visit.
