Southwinds Campsite

We camped here for 4 nights. Facilities are great. Free hot showers, loads of sinks for washing dishes, washing machine and tumble dryer on site ( extra charge for these) They also have a shop, in the reception area which is quite handy. The campsite has loads of fields with great views. If you're lucky you can see some great sunsets. The only downside, it's a bit windy. The name says it all. All in all we had a great time and nothing to complain. We definitely will come back.

Myself and my partner stayed over the August ‘25 bank holiday weekend and we had a lovely time. All members of staff we spoke to were absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The site facilities are very clean, well maintained and central on site so aren’t too far away from any pitch. The food from Wilf was incredible - the sort you still talk about a fortnight later! We had the curry goat (pictured) and the breakfast box. It is in such a lovely location, the view from site out into the sea is beautiful, and the walk down to the beach is manageable for able bodied adults and children (although would be pretty impossible with a pushchair). 5* visit for us, we love Polzeath and can’t wait to come back next year.

Great campsite close to Polzeath and a short walk to the beach/village, facilities were great and well maintained. Staff were really helpful and friendly and allowed us to switch pitch to shelter from the strong wind.
