Zum Franziskaner

We had dinner here and everything was wonderful. We ordered the Schweinebraten Jägerart mit frischen Champignons und Spätzle (Roast pork in cream sauce with fresh mushrooms and Bavarian noodles) and the Maultaschen Allgäuer Art mit Speck und Käse überbacken dazu gemischten Salat (Allgäuer tradtionell pasta squares baked with bacon, cheese and mixed salad). The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We did not make a reservation but were kindly seated - (it was off-season) but with food this delicious, you will want to make reservations, to be sure, and we will make reservations next time - it is worthwhile!

We were there for dinner and we were very satisfied and came back next day, too. Food was very good and portions were big enough. They gave us dessert for free. Peaceful and calming place, nice ambient. I would recommend it to everybody.

What a lovely traditional feel restaurant. We kind of stumbled upon this restaurant, whilst looking for a last minute decision to eat. So happy we chose Zum Franziskaner, had a really nice experience. The service and attention, to make sure everything was perfect from the waiter to the owner was first class and the food was ridiculously delicious 🤤
