Sallochy Bay

Loved this tranquil campsite. Very minimal - compost loos, a warden providing firewood and bowls onsite for a few hours a day. That's about it outside of the stunning lochside spots (worth getting one of these over central pitches, in my view). A peaceful experience closer to wild camping than a big family campsite. The walk here from the South or from Rowardennan is gorgeous.

Amazing view! Perfect place for picnic and cold swimming

You have to pay to park, but it's a small price to pay to enjoy the views.
