Very friendly staff doing their best to accomodate our needs (I was surprised to read all the negative comments from other users). The pool is small but cozy, and the sauna is very pleasant. The room are big, very clean, and with sound-proof windows (even if the hotel is close to the road, we couldn't really hear the traffic). Very nice dinner with vegetarian options, and lovely varied breakfast buffet. I will definitely come again for another hiking weekend!

Their simple act of providing me with a free breakfast - despite me not being a guest, but just another hiker on the Blackforest Westweg trails - helped me hike a distance of 60 km in a single day! This simple act of theirs is a true testament to their hospitality. I’d definitely recommend this place for its amazing location but more importantly, it’s amazing hosts!
