Hotel Alle Alpi

We were driving along the Dolomites from Belluno and we stopped for a break by the lake in Alleghe and decided to stop for the night here. It was a great decision because we found rooms available in this hotel, which is a typical Italian Alpine winter resort with basic furnishings and plenty of warmth, especially from the staff. All had a very good command of English and service was great. We had dinner at the restaurant with typical game dishes and polenta available and we were also very well served with a buffet breakfast in the morning. I was lucky enough to have a really great conversation with the owner, who is an amiable gentleman and a true professional in his work. If you’re in town I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very friendly and accommodating staffs who speak good English. Breakfast and dinner are typical Italian, but I enjoyed most of the dinner. It is super nice with big portions (to me) for both primi e secondi. We had good scenery of Alleghe Lake from our balcony.

Very pleasant English speaking personnel in a nice hotel at a perfect place close to the lift to mountains. We had breakfasts and dinners and the food was delicious. Bathrooms were a bit older but that's no problem for a few nights.
