Villa Bernau

We stopped over in Bernau on our way from The Netherlands to Switzerland 2 years ago and were determined to come back to this beautiful area. This long weekend we were here again and chose the recently opened Villa Bernau to stay. What an excellent and unforgettable accommodation this is. Marvellous views, spacious and luxurious rooms, hospitable and pro-active hosts with eye for detail and finesse. The stargazing experience with clear skies and knowledgeable guidance from host Hans was most memorable and competed with the exquisite cuisine of host Veronika for breakfast and dinner. This place is really exceptional. 5 out of 5 hands down

Amazing location, incredibly beautiful views from every room of the house, sitting areas all around the property to take in the scenery and follow the sun. Chic and very warm furnishing and decoration with loads of attention to details. Our amazing bedroom was more like a large VIP suite with a large beautiful scenic balcony. And let’s not forget the food! Breakfast was delicious and more like a fancy brunch! We also had two dinners there which were truly a top stars restaurant experience for the eye and for the tastebuds. A big thank you to our hosts Veronika and Hans who really gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. Our entire stay, they went out of their way to make us feel special. We will definitely be back soon!

It was a fantastic stay, far beyond our expectations. We have a child and a baby, therefore was not easy to find a comfortable place. However, at Veronika‘s place, we felt like we were at home, no, even better than home, as we didn’t have to cook or clean the rooms:) The rooms are bright and clean, the facilities are brand new, the food was amazing, and Veronika and Hans provided everything we needed. We have already booked our next stay:)
