This hotel was priced right and has a location that was great for walking the old town or up the hill. Service was excellent; in the off season with a lot of empty rooms they were wise enough to place guests in rooms with great views. Our king room had a very comfortable bed, patio with a view of the castle. The breakfast was good and served in a beautiful room with plenty of open and bright space. Parking was 5 euro a day. Cocktails in the lounge are pricy, but the bartender sometimes worth the price of admission. Great stay.

Great, old school hotel, in the middle of Portugal! The room was very ample and even there was an entry room to the room to place clothes and shoes. This hotel embodies the classic chique European place to stay! The staff are very accommodating, and the amenities are 5, not 4 star. Check in and get to know Tomar. Become a local!

Great value for money. Great location, surrounded by green areas and a quiet river, near the fabulous Convent of Christ. But what surprised us even more was the Grão Mestre restaurant. High quality food and very nice staff (especially for the room manager) made our experience there unforgetable. After that, the nextdoor bar also provided a pianist playing great popular international music.
