Very disappointed and I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. The quality/price ratio is completely unreasonable. The owner says the price is great because it's accommodation in Frigiliana, talking about Frigiliana as if it were Disneyland Paris 🤣… For what I paid for lodging, I paid the same in Nerja, with a pool and breakfast included, and with better facilities. There was a lot of dampness in the bathroom, kitchen, and living room on the first floor. The noise is awful; the doors creak worse than in a horror movie, you can hear everything (voices, footsteps, phone calls). The windows are not soundproofed at all and are very old. The only good things were the bed and the location. The room decor was a complete disaster; I almost hit my head on the hanger, the chair in the room was very wobbly, and I nearly fell. They advertise a pleasant atmosphere on Booking.com, but it's the complete opposite. It's impossible to rest; people are inconsiderate and don't care about opening and closing doors. This morning, the toilet paper and the bottles of shower gel and shampoo disappeared from the shower, which is very inconvenient. For this to happen, the guests staying there are clearly untrustworthy. The security cameras are like something out of a prison, and all the reminders via text message and the Booking.com app are in very poor taste. If they're selling adult accommodation, they should know how to treat adults. The owner says they'll be doing renovations in January 2026, but reading the reviews, I see the complaints date back to 2023. I don't know how they're still open. If they can't manage quality accommodation, they should do something else. You can't play with people's money and good faith when they choose a place that turns out to be the complete opposite in real life.

I don't usually leave reviews on these platforms because I also rent rooms and I'm not competitive in that respect. But I have to say that if you decide to rent rooms, whether by choice or because you've inherited one, you need to dedicate more time and money to it! I'm talking about doors, windows, wardrobes, tables, chairs, mirrors, etc. Everything from around 1970 to 1980. You only need to spend about 600 to 800 euros on each room. And you'll make it modern! As an extra, if you add a TV no bigger than 32 inches and air conditioning, you'll constantly receive new guests who leave happy. That's word of mouth! And you'll become a goldmine! That's called investment: spending money to improve and then receiving a steady stream of guests. I gave the room 2 stars because at least the bed was quite wide and comfortable for two people, which I liked! I'm mentioning the good points too! And lastly, the bathroom door makes a terrible racket. The door lock latch is broken, and the bathroom ceiling is like a cave, peeling all over! This is just my personal advice. Simply changing the bedroom door would eliminate the echo in the hallways! And installing soundproof windows wouldn't cost that much! My partner already complained, and you told her you're the cheapest and that a town like Frigiliana is fine as it is! And that you'd get started in 2026! Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today! Another tip for the pot! Don't settle! And to give you an idea, a town like Ronda is far superior to Frigiliana in every way! In terms of visitors, shops, views, good and affordable accommodation, etc. No big company ever sets up shop in Frigiliana (there must be a reason). Thanks and regards. Even doing your hair requires skill! And if you see you can't do any better, change the type of business! You can't take the name "Grandma's House" to that extreme! RENEW OR GIVE UP

I didn't find the owner pleasant to deal with, and I felt prejudiced because I was young. The house had several drawbacks: there were ants in the entrance, kitchen, and bathroom; there was only one shower for each room; it's quite hot in the summer, and only two of the five rooms have air conditioning; and there's no shared living room. They don't allow visitors and use security cameras to monitor who enters, which made me uncomfortable. Another detail I didn't like was that they moved our belongings and placed them inside the kitchen cabinets, forcing us to search for them. The kitchen cabinets were also infested with ants. The experience was not satisfactory, and in my case, I wouldn't repeat it or recommend it.
