First impressions is WOW. The long train journey was definitely worth it. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The log cabin is perfect. We are staying here for 12 days and this is only day 1. Excellent location and lovely Scenery. Hopefully we mite get some snow but in all honesty the scenery is unbelievable anyway.

Stayed here for 2 nights back in early January so we could catch the West Highland train from Crianlarich to Mallaig and return. Found it to be very comfortable and homely. The owners Rob & Jo were friendly and provided ample food for breakfast, etc.

One of the best places we stayed on during our hike on the West Highland Way. Robert and Jo are wonderful, knowledgeable hosts and the Lodge House was clean, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully stocked with all sorts of treats - not to mention has stunning views! They also provide a free shuttle service depending on where you are stopping on the trail. Could not recommend more highly! Thank you!
