This is an amazin place. There are several mines that were open and so close to the sea. The miners use to extract tin and copper from the mines until unfortunately they were inundated due to a lack of funding. The ruins still stand and you can see mine entrances through out the paths. It is a steep walk down to the ruins but it is full of wildlife and flowers. The sea view it is absolutely stunning. It you are an avid walker I would highly recommend it. It is a good place to bring children but you need to keep an eye on them. There could be more signs to explain what the ruins are but all and all is a wonderful walk and way to spend time with the family. There is a cafe which is inside the Count House and you can also sit outside. There is no need to buy tickets but you will need to pay for parking. If you are a National Trust member you might not but still please get the accurate information.

Very atmospheric, loads of history all about the tin mining industry in the 18th and 19th century. Well worth a visit if you are into history of the mining industry.
