We did not stay here. We went to attend an open mic event. The building is clean, old, and beautiful inside. The bar staff are lovely. But the bar taps weren't working, so there were limited choices for drinks. They do have the cheapest prices in town for drinks. The music was nice. 😀 An older crowd played songs from the past, but they all did an amazing job! 😉

We turned up to what be believed to be the obvious entrance to the premises but no clear direction to indicate that the actual entrance was at the rear. A quick phone call sorted that out. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and welcoming. We had a en-suite double room which had everything we needed. Situated in the town centre which made it an ideal point from which the town centre could be explored. Breakfast was self service in the clean dining/ kitchen area. Simple breakfast fayre offered.

Friendly place with attentive staff. Good local real ale and cider at competitive prices. We hadn't been to Chepstow for some time but the building has been transformed in recent years and is a credit to the town.. Interior is clean, light and airy. All in all a great place to stay or just stop for a drink.
