We stayed for a week as a family with our two children. The house is pleasant but could do with better maintenance by the owners. The furniture and bedding are outdated, and many items are damaged or broken. Furthermore, there's a rather strong and unpleasant smell of dampness inside. But the biggest drawback is the presence of numerous dogs in the neighborhood that bark incessantly! Some are right next to the terrace and the pool, behind the fence separating the house from the neighbors. It's unbearable! Overall, our opinion is rather mixed.

A very beautiful finca, with a fantastic pool. Cleanliness is a bit of an issue; we had an ant infestation every other day, and only insecticide spray helped. All day long, you hear dogs barking (it felt like 50 of them). This goes on until late at night. Around 1 a.m., a rooster crows somewhere. I imagine a quiet finca to be different; the access road is more suitable for a tractor than a car. But as I said, the pool and the grounds are gigantic.

Unpleasant vacation experience. We spent eight nights in the house, which looked very good in the photos. There were several defects. The pool was dirty and murky, and only after two days and intensive cleaning was it clean, clear, and safe to use. The air conditioning broke down when the outside temperature was 36 degrees Celsius and wasn't finally replaced and connected until day five. The TV didn't work at all and never could have – no cables, nothing set up. We had tradespeople/technicians in the house for these issues on more than half of our vacation days. In addition, there were large ant trails throughout the house, and every day there were large piles of dead ants on the floor. According to the rental agency in Mallorca, this was something we had to accept as typical for the area. The kitchen equipment was clearly outdated. Many items were old, pans were scratched, plates were chipped, and kitchen utensils had melted and broken handles. In short: you don't feel like cooking. There were also quite a few sticky things in the kitchen, and we even found hairs on the pillow. We would therefore question the enhanced cleaning supposedly done due to COVID-19. A little tip: The access road to the house is a narrow dirt track with stones on both sides. We recommend a small car rather than an SUV. The location is correspondingly quiet. The beds are not the standard 2-meter length. The mattress situation can be improved somewhat by bringing the mattresses from the daybeds outside inside. The bedrooms are so small that the doors don't open fully. In the bedroom with the double bed, there's only about 30 cm of space on each side. You cannot speak to the staff in the listed languages. Communication is only possible in Spanish. The Wi-Fi is stable and fast. The advertised bathtub does not exist. Unfortunately, despite the pool and temperatures well over 30 degrees Celsius, you only receive one towel per person for over a week. Of course, you can do laundry – but you have to buy your own detergent. Dish soap and similar small consumables were also included. In total, the owner offered us a discount equivalent to the electricity costs (note that there are two conflicting statements regarding the electricity price) of less than 5% for this abysmal experience. When we asked for a larger discount, the owner suddenly lied and claimed we had arrived 5 hours early, simply hadn't been able to operate the TV, etc. Fortunately, we have screenshots and photos of everything and are now hoping for clarification from Airbnb.
