⸻ I'm a pilgrim: I've walked a long way, tired in body but longing for a refuge for my soul. At the Giulio Romantic Lodge in Campagnano di Roma, I found much more than a bed: I found a home. When I finished my walk and found myself in town, completely exhausted, they—the family who runs the lodge—came to pick me up. It was a gesture that spoke of care, of humanity: they welcomed me not as a guest, but as a sister. The dinner, prepared by them on the premises, was delicious. Each dish measured love and simplicity. Dining there makes you feel protected, as if the flavors were embraces. The room? Fantastic. Nothing is missing: comfort, attention to every detail, from the washing machine to the quality soaps. Everything is designed for well-being. And the view... oh, the view! Surrounded by greenery, a panorama that soothes the heart, rejuvenates even the most jaded thoughts. It's a large, airy space, perfect for those who love silence, for those who have walked a lot, for those who simply seek peace. And even for a weekend getaway: a delicate refuge far from the hustle and bustle. I know the location may seem a bit out of the way, but don't worry, if you don't have a car, they'll help you. They'll take you to places you can't reach on foot. It's a service that makes all the difference. I love these people. Kind-hearted, sincere, and unpretentious. They warmed my soul.
