Hotel Jardín Concha

I booked this hotel a month in advance for two people, however, upon arrival after hiking 30 kilometers, the reception told me they had no record of my reservation. I showed them the booking email repeatedly, but it didn't matter. The best they could do is offer a single person pension room, and we had to take it as everything else in VGR was fully booked. We ended up sleeping two to a one person bed, and the pension itself was dingy and not very clean. The only nice thing I can say about the entire experience is that the view from the room's balcony is nice.

Excellent hotel in La Calera! We loved our stay there. Everything is clean, pleasant, well equipped and tidy. Good price and good value for money. Breakfast is worth it with delicious homemade jams and fresh fruits. Good location within walking distance from the beach, restaurants and main trails. The owners are helpful and considerate. There is a sense of home and privacy. We will definitely return!!!

We had a lovely time here! It's located in a quiet area while still in walking distance to the beach and restaurants of Valle Gran Rey. The room was nice, with a small balcony and sea view, a reasonably comfortable bed - only the bathroom had a bit of a smell to it (hence the four stars). Definitely opt for the breakfast here since there are a few home-made things that you can choose, including jams, avocado dip, and even some sweet bread. We were also offered fruit salad, and eggs in one occasion. This, to us, was a great location to explore La Gomera from, and we can heartily recommend it!
