We camped at Silver Sands over the half-term with friends. We had a warm welcome by the receptionist who explained all about the holiday park essentials and the local area. We found the pitches large. Due to the weather being slightly unpredictable, a few people had cancelled their trip and so we were replaced - our tent is very large (10man) so we usually take up 2 pitches- amongst the main area with our friends instead of in the summer field (over flow field). Staff were always happy to help & the toilets, kitchen area were kept clean and tidy. Showers were excellent & powerful. Available to use Laundry area (- little cost), clothes line outside, fridges. Found the place really relaxing and child friendly. Play park kept our children entertained all the time. Only one thing that could be improved is having an area to plug phones to recharge. I would definitely recommend to people & come back again.

We've stayed here subsequent years, always lovely site. Owner is friendly, welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. All facilities you need are here. Dog friendly too! Washing machine, dryer, hot showers etc... Expect some upgrades renovations in the near future apparently. For those that need some additional info. The beach is a beautiful scenic walk through the woods, alongside a small stream. 10-15 minute walk. The usual route However is a bit rugged. You'll struggle a bit with buggies/trolleys, lots of baggage etc. ... There is alternative trails, but longer and have their own access issues. ... The drive is easy enough, if a bit narrow by the actual beach. ... There's not tons of parking BUT it's never a rammed beach, with many people going to other beaches in the area. Cadwith Cove is also walkable along lovely lanes, or the cliff view, past the Serpentine works. Definitely visit this cove, especially the Inn on Tuesdays or Fridays. There are a few little stores around here and there, literally a few minutes drive and reasonably priced considering. Lots of things to do in the area, some not well advertised online, so look at leaflets and ask around. Unfortunately Flambards has now closed, but the indoor play area (Freddy's) is still open. Often local events, galas, music going on too

There’s something special about silver sands holiday park. Me and my family have been visiting for the past eleven years once or mostly twice a year and never get bored. We either stay in a static or camp. The statics are lovely and clean and fresh every time we go.The site is beautifully maintained, everything is neat and tidy, toilets and shower blocks are pristine. There’s a laundry room which has everything you need and an area for washing your pots. On site there’s also two play areas for children young and old which the children love, there’s also a dog walking Feild my dog loves. The owner of the park & team are such lovely people. Very accommodating to your needs. Always has time for there guests. There’s a beach 10 minutes away either by car or a lovely walk through the woods. There’s plenty to do and beautiful walks. Whether you want to stay close to the site or travel that little bit further there’s always something. Thankyou to the owner and all the team who maintains the site beautifully and makes our stay special.
