Hotel Ego

The staff was very friendly! We were celebrating a birthday, and even though it was late, they offered us a cozy spot in the lounge and played some background music. It was a lovely touch! The rooms are wonderful – cozy interior, and after our walk, the staff made sure the room was warm for us. A special treat came in the morning – a large bathtub and hot water, which, as we realized, is quite rare in Spain. Taking a hot bath in the morning was pure bliss! Afterward, wrapping up in a towel, sitting by the window, feeling the fresh winter air, and enjoying the view of the Atlantic Ocean – the perfect start to the day. 100/10!

Great hotel for a business trip. A little out of town but that's also got a lot of upside! Really great service from the check-in staff, some of the best I have experienced globally! Sonya and her friends really made me and two colleagues feel at home :) nice quiet beach close, paddle tennis courts, easy access to car.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the beach at playa de Area. Views from the hotel of the beach are spectacular. Our room was described as a junio suite with a terrave and great views of the beach and Ria. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness centre and spa treatments. However, when we visited in June 23, all of these were closed 'for maintenance'. This is a pity and there didn't seem much evidence that they were likely to reopen soon. There is also a restaurant on site, which we didn't use as it looked very overpriced and online reviews weren't great. But you should try it for yourself. There is a great restaurant about a 300 metre walk away Louzao, which I'd heartily recommend. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed our stay just a pity that the advertised facilities weren't available. I would definitely stay here again though.
