Pros : -nice view -nice cottage in general -isolated and private - kitchen tools are provided Cons : -expensive - needs to have curtains - the host asked us to check out before 11 am or extend which is not normal to check out before 11 -we asked him for bbq area he said will provide it 6 pm or 7 pm , we received the wood after 8 pm - we couldn’t find tea in the market , we asked him for tea he said we don’t provide - they provide no coffee or anything -for this price they must have at least sitting area outside - the matrix was dirty. I found hair, dead insects, and dust.

Ushguli is one of those places so breathtaking, you almost want to keep it a secret—but it wouldn’t be fair not to share. Tucked deep in the Caucasus mountains, this village feels like stepping into a timeless postcard. Getting there is a bit of an adventure itself: I took a train, then a local ride to Mestia, and finally a shared minibus into Ushguli. For those more adventurous (or meditative), there are stunning trekking routes from Mestia to Ushguli. It’s about a 4-day hike through remote mountain villages, where many camp overnight or stay in local guesthouses. You’ll cross rivers, pass glaciers, and meet fellow hikers with stories etched into their boots. This is a place that stays with you long after you leave. Go for the landscapes—but stay for the feeling of being completely unplugged and grounded. Just… go gently. Let’s keep it beautiful.
