L'Escale - Côte de Granit Rose

Régine and her family are exceptionally kind hosts. They offer great advice and are always very attentive (free eggs from their hens, muffins, and prune flans). The cottage is ideally located, functional, and the sunny terrace is most pleasant. We had a more than pleasant stay in this heavenly setting. We recommend them without hesitation!

This B&B is located near the GR34 in an area where accommodation for hikers is very poor. For one night, the accommodation is acceptable, although there are some areas where there's room for improvement: The room is very small, unable to hold two suitcases, the bed is too soft, and there's only one bedside lamp. The living room is very small and cluttered, with a TV lounge in the hallway leading to the kitchen (it would be better to remove the sofa). The bathroom and toilet are adequate for such a small space. The breakfast is basic. You have to make your own coffee, and there's no fresh fruit. All for €110! The price/quality ratio is acceptable when compared to a B&B in Treguier. On the plus side: as it was raining, our host took us to the only restaurant open in the area (campsite), and we ate well there.

Very warm welcome from Marjorie and her family. The room is large, comfortable, and well-equipped. The guest meal served in the room was just perfect, with a platter of local seafood. The breakfast was as hearty as the meal bag. A superb stopover on the GR34! Thank you again.
