Robbie Love's Campsite

We had a fantastic 2 week family holiday at this lovely campsite. A very warm and friendly welcome from Chris and Laura. The facilities were beautifully clean the whole time, long hot showers always available. There is a laundry room with a brand-new and very large washer and dryer. A lovely cafe for delicious coffee and food on site. Such a beautiful spot, only a 10 minute walk to the beach, stunning sunsets and walks and a lovely chilled out atmosphere on site. Even the dog loved it! When we arrived home my daughter burst into tears and said I want to go back to the campsite!! I felt the same! Can't wait to return to this truly happy place ☺️ and would definitely recommend and have done to all of my friends. Thank you 😊

Had a lovely stay again in August 2024. The site is still great, nothing changed much from last year, although the cafe wasn’t open so much this year and there is now a hairdresser /barber on site. Plus a lovely new dog! The showers etc were clean and worked well. We look forward to coming back on our next visit to Polzeath. We stayed at Robbie Loves at the beginning of August 2023. (I tried to post this review then but I’m not sure it worked!) We were travelling to a few different sites along the north coast of Cornwall on our trip, Robbie’s was definitely the friendliest with the nicest community of campers. The owner/manager Chris works really hard to make sure everyone is ok (not easy in the terrible weather we had), but was always happy to chat or answer any queries. 50p gives you a long hot shower and the washing machines and dryer were great. The site is in a fab position, in the countryside, but only a 10 minute walk down into the centre of Polzeath. It’s an easy, off road walk, (but maybe not suitable for pushchairs as there’s a few steps through a narrow pathway at one point). There’s also a lovely walk down to Baby Bay, or Pentire and onto the Rumps. Ocean Breeze/TJ’s cafe on site was great and added to the community feel on the site. Breakfast food and drinks were delicious, as were the evening meals with licensed bar - perfect for a sundowner (when it wasn’t raining). We all loved the site, including Flo the dog. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they all seemed to appreciate what a lovely place it is. We are looking forward to returning next summer - hopefully the sun will be out a bit more next year and it will be even better! Thank you 😊

Robbie Love and I are so thrilled with how Chris and Laura are running the campsite. We really can relax and enjoy retirement, knowing it is in good hands. We're still only up the road, so we love to pop in here and there to say hello to old friends and enjoy everyone's company. Chilled and friendly, it's a great spot to camp at!
