Slapton Sands Camping and Caravanning Club Site

The area is in a prime position for a campsite and good if you have an expensive van however my vehicle was told they would not accept as it did not meet the standard at the time and they were suspicious that I was not a member. Luckily I brought my card and a tent they where good that they accepted this so was grateful, however asked me to set the tent in the corner and park my vehicle away from thw tent so I went to another campsite.

What a wonderful gem of a site! Angi & Paul who manage it are so welcoming, they both work tirelessly and it shows as it is spotlessly clean, the grounds are kept so neat and tidy, pitches are spacious & all have views of the sea. It is a fab location to either walk 10 minutes down the hill to the Nature Reserve & the sea or turn right out of the site and go an explore the beautiful picturesque village.

This is a lovely campsite with ample amenities which are clean and tidy. We visited during the school holidays and even though the site was really busy everything was perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. About a 10 minute walk to the beach and many safe walks off the main road. The village of Slapton is a 5 - 10 minute walk. There are 2 pubs and a locally run village shop which we were surprised how well stocked it was and not overpriced. We've been here twice now and will definitely be going back.
