I am a pilgrim walking the Camino de Santiago. I arrived to Salinas and I decided to stay at Las Dunas Hostel. This place was incredibly clean and feels soo cozy. I would return here anytime. Great and very friendly staff. Cristina gave me a very warm welcome. It was a 5 stars stay at a very affordable price. Thank you Las Dunas!

Clean, friendly and near the long, sandy surfing beach. Easy to reach by bus plus short walk from Asturias airport; easy to catch bus out to surrounding areas.

The service was awful. They called me the same day I had my reservation to tell me they'd made a mistake and didn't have any beds. I told them I had nowhere else to go since everything was full, and they offered me a mattress on the floor for free. Great! I thanked them. When I arrived, they told me they did have a bed after all. 35 euros for a bed in a dirty room. Two disgusting bathrooms for all the guests. Only two of the four showers worked, and they didn't drain properly and were filthy. Breakfast was included from 8 am. Since I had to leave early, I asked if they could please leave me something. They gave me half a loaf of Bimbo bread and jam, as if they were doing me a favor, and with complete indifference. I asked for plates and cutlery, and rudely, without even looking at me, they said NO and went on with what they were doing. Terrible service. I absolutely do not recommend it.
