Cortijo Triviño

Property is absolutely spotless. WiFi is spot on 38Mb down & 9Mb upload speeds. Pool is clean and seems enormous but for young families might not be ideal as between 1.7 & 1.9m deep, so no shallows for youngsters though great for adults. The outdoor kitchen area, like house is also spotless with decent barbecue tools. So peaceful and a great restaurant only 100mtr away up the hill (though pricey, great views).

A beautiful well equipped villa. While very much away from the village (6000 metres or a 40 minute walk to be precise) it is on a well made road down to the villa which is handy for taxis bringing back bulk shopping. The terrace and pool areas are glorious,.with beautiful views. WiFi is a bit hit and miss around the pool sometimes but not a major issue. Mosquitoes have been a huge problem for us despite our normally successful efforts to deter them so come prepared. They particularly seem to congregate on the front verandah where there's a multitude if potted plants that the owners water thoroughly leaving troughs of standing water in the plant stands. We've unfortunately had to avoid using that area on an evening and bought some strong repellant with deet that appears to be working. We would return here as it's so lovely but would probably opt to be closer to the village if we did return to the area.

Beautiful location and lovely, spotless accommodation. We stayed for 2 weeks and had an amazing time. The roads are narrow but we'll worth the trip. The kids loved the pool and it was a godsend in the heat. We often sat on the front terrace watching the world go by - loved the goats wandering around the valley. The owners were lovely and even gave us a massive watermelon from their field next to the property. So many beautiful places to visit.
