Hotel Mi Norte - Ribadeo

Pleasant room, hard mattress which I had no problem with. Not sure about opaque glass panel between bedroom and bathroom. Able to see outline of person sitting on toilet or in shower. Slightly difficult interactions with lady staff-member as unfortunately we do not speak Spanish (used Google translator) so we missed out on casual chitchat. Our fault entirely. Hotel next to a very busy road so could not leave window open at night - very warm in room as no aircon. Breakfast (€8) was a limited buffet but was pleasant (no hot food). Exceptional yoghurt. Sadly the coffee was not hot. Even though the buffet selection was laid on a side table the staff member served everything (even putting on the toast!). When not serving she sort of stood sentry-like behind the counter which I found unsettling. We were the only guests in the small room. She was perfectly courteous but it made me feel uneasy. This hotel sufficed for one night only. I cannot put my finger on one point but I would not return.

Service was outstanding! Super friendly staff willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were having a pleasant experience. Breakfast is excellent as well with home made pastries. Rooms are clean and spacious and the hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from playa as catedrais.

Fantastic view of the water. Large room, great bathroom, comfortable beds. Somebody was smoking in the next room and we could hear the family above stomping around.
