Lorna Doone Hotel & Restaurant

This is a charming hotel in the centre of Porlock. We had a lovely room with a view of the sea, it was small but did the job. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with vegan options, plus we had dinner on Saturday night with a great menu and excellent vegan choices. We loved that the portion sizes were sensible, meant I had a pudding!

Christmas Day lunch was exceptional, served in a cozy dining room, beautifully decorated for the festive season and three courses cooked to perfection with excellent service. The Lorna Doone Hotel Christmas Day experience was first class.

What a wonderfully run and managed hotel in Porlock. The dinner in the evening (as well as the breakfast in the morning) was superbly prepared and cooked and the service was exceptional. Their attention to detail in making us feel welcome was most impressive.
