Haus Kärnten

Our stay at Haus Kärnten in Döbriach was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The house is very cozy, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally well maintained, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, bright, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is perfect – quiet and peaceful, yet within walking distance of Lake Millstätter See, as well as restaurants and shops. The surrounding nature and beautiful Carinthian landscape make it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. The hosts are incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations for local attractions, hiking trails, and swimming spots. We truly felt at home and very well taken care of throughout our stay. Haus Kärnten is a perfect choice for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway combined with outdoor activities. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Haus Kärnten Döbriach hotel and can highly recommend it. The location is perfect—close to a beautiful lake Millstatt Lake and ideally situated for trips to Italy and Salzburg. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with spotless rooms and common areas that clearly show great attention to detail. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options ( the Austrian butter was exceptional) that exceeded our expectations. The service was equally exceptional: the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always available to answer our questions. They speak multiple languages fluently, which made communication effortless and they gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit and things to do in the area. Overall, this hotel combines comfort, cleanliness, fantastic service, and a great location. We felt very welcome throughout our stay and would happily return.

Haus Kärnten is a charming and very welcoming place to stay.
