Howmore Youth Hostel

Great place with great amenities. The one room was quite moist but there was a machine in the room to remove the moisture. All in all a very positive stay during our hiking the Hebridean Way. Met some great people there too.

The gatliff trust are the friendliest hostels on the islands, and have the most character, best locations. Intended for cyclists and walkers. Beds are in small dorms on a first come first served basis. Just head on in and make yourself comfortable. Sara, the warden will pop in during the evening with a card reader if you don't have cash. You'll need a sleeping bag or liner, or you can hire a liner. Nearest food shop is 9 miles away so bring supplies with you. Enjoy!

Great hostel with the option to pitch up your tent next to it while using all hostel facilities. Fully equiped kitchen and wonderful opportunity to meet fellow travellers.
