Camping de l'Ourthe

Very beautiful camping. We we settled by the river . The owners or the couple that took care of us were very polite. They explain everything what we need to know. There is inet,pizza delivery,lids corner, place for the parents. In the small convenient store you may buy anything in case you forgot something. Even if they don't have it,the city centrum is like 5-10 min walk .

Great place for family camping. Only I wish the playground for the kids could be better. Only 1 ping pong table and darts behind the store and play area. Best was the scenery and the clean restrooms and showers. Would like to go for 1 week next time instead of only the weekend.

First things first; it's a beautiful location. A significant part of the camping spots are on the riverside, which is a pretty sight to wake up to and really fun to swim or play in. It is also within walking distance of the city la Roche and there are plenty of walking routes and places to kayak and bike nearby. There is a very small shop inside the reception where you can buy bread and on camping there is a ping pong table and a small playground for kids. The staff however is not very friendly or welcoming and, although reasonably priced, the camping spots were placed very close to each other, making noise a bit of a problem sometimes. Sadly, there is no waste separation but the sanitation is reasonably good and gets cleaned everyday.
