Gîte Etxe Zaharria

We spent New Year's Eve there with several families with children. The gîte is large and beautiful, located in a traditional Basque farmhouse. Everyone felt comfortable, and the weather was perfect. The staff who looked after us were wonderful. Thank you! I highly recommend it.

For several years now, the youth services of Saint-Aubin-de-Médoc have stayed in this gîte for a week each summer. At the end of each stay, our young people, as well as the counselors, leave amazed and with their heads full of memories. The gîte is simply extraordinary. Its location is one of its greatest assets, offering a spectacular view of the valley. Meals on the large terrace are unforgettable moments. The layout of the gîte easily accommodates a stay with about twenty young people and three counselors. Two floors are dedicated to dormitories and bathrooms. The ground floor has a large living room with a very well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals. In recent years, several parts of the gîte have been renovated, making it even more pleasant. The outdoor area also offers an ideal space for organizing activities and/or evening gatherings. The gîte is also close to the village's pelota court and the ARTEKA leisure center, which offer fantastic outdoor activities. We're going back again this year. It's a very popular stay with our young people from the community. I highly recommend this gîte and the services offered by ARTEKA. Whether you're staying with teenagers, children, or even adults, you'll find everything you need here for a quality experience.
