Sportchalet Mürren

Wonderful choice! The room was clean and room 13 had a great balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included continental breakfast was delicious and just what we needed before a quick walk across the street to rent gear for the Via Ferrata. The entrance to the trail is so convenient, right behind hotel. 10/10

Too expensive for what you get. The facility and service is the most basic you can get (no soap or shampoo provided, only a basic towel per person, no face towel or washcloth). Reception hours are quite limited and no one around to ask for information. The building is old, a bit deteriorated and smells bad. The view from my room was amazing though, and great sport facility, with many options

We are a family of four. We absolutely hated this hotel. It is a very creepy hotel with one of the most unpleasant front desk manager, plus hotel staffers that seem to literally hate guests. Only exception was the nice kind lady that manages the continental breakfast buffet. In short: this place doesn't meet minimum service and amenity standard to be called a "hotel" ; it is basically a dingy youth hostel Tip: search for review of this hotel by "podgioli" whom I do not know but whose very accurate review described the true nature of this Sportchalet place better than my review did
