Agriturismo Casale del Contadino Lago di Bolsena

Wonderful place to stay! Extremely friendly host. The property is so beautiful. Right on the lake. We made coffee and sat on the black sand beach in the mornings, and painted near the beach in the evenings. The kids played in the nice, clean pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the town of Bolsena was a 5 minute drive, with plenty of options for food. We chose this location for access to Terme di Saturnia (1 hour drive) and Civita Di Bagnoregio (30 min drive). We found our stay here to be very peaceful.

Great place, nice atmosphere, clean, nice pool nice beach. However, you need a car to get to a supermarket. They sell fresh bread, veggies and fruit if you dont make it to town - but we could not find a walkable restaurant. The home we stayed in did not have AC which made for some pretty hot nights, and with no screens on the doors or windows...otherwise I would give it 5 stars
