Last February, during my Camino from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela, I also stayed one night with Dries at Albergue Casa Alternativo. Whenever I think back on this wonderful journey, my stay with Dries always comes to mind, and I often speak enthusiastically about it to anyone who is interested. The host, Dries, is absolutely amazing. He really made us feel welcome, and the communal dinner is great too. Dries is more than happy to share his stories and experiences throughout many years of travelling on the routes of the camino. It's worth every cent!

Great albuergue on the camino with swimming pool, washboard sink for laundry and nice clean sheets(no sleeping bag needed). We had a great communal dinner and were woken up by opera music for breakfast under the moon. Dreis gave great recommendations on itineraries and I was personally recommended a restaurant in Padron and a stay at the convent in Herbon
